The story about Bonnie and Clyde robbing the Arp bank is not really the truth. Bonnie and Clyde really robbed the refinery, not the bank. They robbed the refinery on payday so they could probably get the cash easier. They were said to be wearing wigs and sunglasses. When they got out they acted like they were about to dance with each other and everyone came to watch, and they sneaked in to change then robbed the refinery. After robbing the refinery they crossed the railroad tracks before a huge freight train came, and by the time the freight train passed, they were already half way to Tyler. In the movie, it says that Bonnie and Clyde robbed a bank in Arp, Texas, but the movie is really a fabrication.
