| This years Varsity Basketball Team will be a lot younger than last year. Arp only has five seniors that played basketball last year, only two played on Arp's varsity. Doug Pierce, Kevin Bell, Shante Giddens, Venton Greer, Ryan Gill are this years senior leaders. Doug and Kevin played on Arp's Varsity team last year and with the new addition of Shante ,Venton, and Ryan, it looks to be a promising year for this team. Douglas is a 6' 5" post and Kevin a 5' 7" guard both are looking forward to making it to the post-season this year. Many players from Arps JV team will be moving up to fill the spots of the eight seniors who graduated this past year. Shante a 5' 6" senior, is a difference maker and Arp is glad to have him a part of this team. Venton, a 5' 11" point guard for the JV last year, led them to a 20-3 season record only losing to Quitman, Woden, and Martins Mill. Last but not least Ryan Gill a 6' 0" post / wing missed last season with a injury but his comeback season should be a promising season for him and the Arp Tigers. This should be a great year for Arp Tiger Basketball. | ||||||||
