Students in a capstone Technology Class have seen enough application software. They do not need to be "taught" new or more difficult applications. When given an array of 3D animation software, they are capable of selecting the appropriate tool for the task. They have the ability to create 3D animation through exploration and discovery, using the skills they have already acquired. Students become self-taught and self-directed. They feel confident in sharing with peers, collaborating, and mentoring others. This is the level employers would like all their employees to be -- capable of dealing with new experiences without feeling inadequate. |
