Graphics in <body> tag will Tile
  • Graphics in the <body> tag will tile across the page just like floor tiles repeat themselves.
  • How much tiling takes place depends upon the size of your graphic.
  • You can create “ribbons” by tiling a graphic that is at least 1200 pixels wide. Height is not as much an issue.

Using the “ribbon” effect

The ribbon (side border graphic) is…actually a graphic that is
1440 X 64 pixels.

This graphic takes advantage of the tiling effect.

It was drawn in paint.
