From here your going to need to click on start and the program will compress your selected blocks so it will be smaller.  NOTE:  not all animated gifs need to be compressed, some are small enough as it is.

To make a transparent GIF animation.

First you need to double click on one of the frames of you animated Gif.  A dialog box will come up and you will put a check in the box that says transparent color.  Then you will go down to the color box and pick the background color but don't get in a hurry you still have to do one more thing.  Down there where it says remove by, you need to put in background and that will keep your frames from riding over themselves.
