  • Assist the K-12 alignment processes in all subject areas

  • Collect & analyze data for NCLB initiative with 3-Tier interventions

  • Coordinate & support data-driven, research-based strategies, methods, and learning environments for the benefit of all stakeholders,

  • Develop policies and guidelines and manage on-going district compliance with NCLB, federal programs,  Character Education, college-readiness, Virtual  High School, Distance Learning Lab, credit recovery and Tech Prep strands K-12,

  • Assist transparent technology infusion in all areas of curriculum K-12 using professional learning community (PLC) model, and

  • Provide staff development, mentoring, and PLC teams to integrate "best practices", age-appropriate strategies, state initiatives, district policies, instructional technologies and NCLB compliance K-12.

Duties as District Technology Director:

Develop needs assessments using data from all stakeholders, collaborate with technology team to develop and provide the infrastructure, hardware, software, technology tools, and providing professional development for seamless technology tools throughout all levels of the district. Support the following:

·  Development of policies, procedures, and integration strategies in cooperation with all improvement committees

·  Planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of district on-line curricula, network, and digital resources, and district electronic technologies, databases, communication & security systems, technology tools, and infrastructure

·  Guide the district in budgeting, purchasing, implementing and evaluating new technologies for the benefit of all stakeholders,

·  Planning, implementation, expansion, and management of a disaster recovery for LANs and  WANs, virtual high school curriculum server,  remote access server, interactive television, application servers, VoIP, Video over IP, LSI control center, student / faculty productivity

   servers, Web servers, Exchange server, PEIMS/Business databases, video surveillance, interactive weather, automated libraries, inventory,  helpdesk, maintenance requests,  and district technology resources, management of digital information and resources on the district Website.
