This form is to be used to identify students who did not pass any portion of the TAKS or who are behind on a benchmark test in a core subject area (Language Arts/Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies). Students who are identified as Tier 2 should receive the attention described by the campus/grade level Tier 2 Guidelines. Parents of the identified students should also receive a letter from the school explaining the Tier 2 process and suggestions for parents to assist the child in gaining the appropriate skills.
