Staff Development Policy

Arp ISD provides professional development for the entire educational community.  Priority involves integration of transparent technologies into the curriculum.  Over thirty certification modules are offered through mentorships and Web-based modules.  Each module has specific criteria as listed in the certification rubric, classroom integration  component, skills-building component, and accountability component. 

Currently, these are available to Arp School's staff, students, community members, and administration on the Arp Web site.

Philosophy:

All teachers & staff will be given professional development using the:

• Collaborative Learning,

• Collaborative Internet Tools,

• 4-Day Integration Workshop

• TIF TECH Training Modules

• Transparent Technologies Implementation, and a

• Learner-Centered Instructional Environment. 

All students and community members will be invited to attend workshops and utilize Web-based modules.
