#9. Utilize Email to conduct meetings, Lesson Plans, Student Planning (Time Management)
Use the Calendar Feature of Outlook

Select the 30 Day Calendar

Click on the Day you need the appointment with your Planning Team. When the day has been highlighted....

Right Mouse click on the day and Select New Appointment

| Type in the subject box the type of meeting | |
| Type in the location box where you want the meeting to be held |

| Use the time boxes to set the beginning and ending of your meeting time | |
| Fill in the Agenda items | |
| Use the Reminder box to send them a message 1 hour (or 1 day) before the meeting. |

| Click on the Actions Menu Item and Select "Invite Attendees" | |
| Now the Meeting begins to look like an email message. Select those you want to invite by clicking the TO option |

Then Click Send

When someone ACCEPTS your message, this appointment will appear on their calendar. Their own calendar will send them reminders as indicated.
Students can use this same feature to learn TIME MANAGEMENT. They can use it to remind them of homework assignments and projects. If their parents have email, they can ALSO invite their parents to attend to their appointment as well!
