Have brief faculty meetings at least each six weeks.

Ideas for faculty Meetings

Focus teacher attention on Program Pride

	Find High Performing Schools
	Find one like Arp (33% African American, 56% Economically Disadvantaged) Contact about their programs

Re-emphasize Program Descriptions, 2 weakest concepts,

Evaluate current materials, tutorials, AND how to get students OFF of TIERS.

All benchmarks will include a WRITING PROMPT (created for all teachers by LA teachers) resulting in an appropriate writing sample

	Collect benchmark scores
	Collect benchmark writing samples -- I want the top and bottom 3 examples from each teacher. We will use these samples to make recommendations to content mastery/acceleration programs.

Content Mastery/ Acceleration programs may be scheduled into your day or into your tutorials or Saturday school

Each six weeks ask: "What are you doing differently now ---based on your current data?"

	Data sources: TPRI (K-3rd grade), ITBS, SOI*, TAKS, YEA, benchmark, handwriting sample, STAR (math & reading), AR Fluency assessments, TEA PAS benchmark, TRACKS assessments, Content Mastery assessments--CIA Mastery Check Lists (Rubrics)
	Elementary: Make sure each teacher has a copy of last year's TPRI scores for this year's students.
	Make sure that your teachers understand what the data on the TPRI means.
	Make sure that teachers are making decisions based on those scores
	Cannot make GROUP decisions.
