bulletAll benchmarks will include a WRITING PROMPT (created for all teachers by LA teachers) resulting in an appropriate writing sample
bulletCollect benchmark scores
bulletCollect benchmark writing samples -- I want the top and bottom 3 examples from each teacher. We will use these samples to make recommendations to content mastery/acceleration programs.

 

bulletContent Mastery/ Acceleration programs may be scheduled into your day or into your tutorials or Saturday school

 

bulletEach six weeks ask: "What are you doing differently now ---based on your current data?"
bulletData sources:  TPRI (K-3rd grade), ITBS, SOI*, TAKS, YEA, benchmark, handwriting sample, STAR (math & reading), AR Fluency assessments, TEA PAS benchmark, TRACKS assessments, Content Mastery assessments--CIA Mastery Check Lists (Rubrics)
bulletElementary: Make sure each teacher has a copy of last year's TPRI scores for this year's students.
bulletMake sure that your teachers understand what the data on the TPRI means.
bulletMake sure that teachers are making decisions based on those scores
bulletCannot make GROUP decisions.
