Formative Assessment--Information that you use to ALTER and ADJUST instruction during the day.  Data-driven instructional decision making uses student measures to change current daily instruction (YEA, Benchmarks, TIERS)
	Summative Assessments -- Information that tells you how well your program is accomplishing its goals. Program Descriptions describe the materials, methods, and goals that will be evaluated.  The evaluation Data is used to summarize the effectiveness of your program (TAKS, Program Evaluations)

	6 Benchmark tests with Writing Prompt for each Benchmark test We have incidences of teachers refusing to give the correct benchmark tests. This should be written up as insubordination --cause for dismissal.

The TAKS Assessments Online are posted by ESC7 and require a PEIMS classroom submission to gain access to the data. Secretaries MUST complete PEIMS enrollment data by second week in August for teachers to access to TAKS data.
