Editing VCRs

The Panasonic AG5700 creates beautiful master tapes while allowing students to audio dub and generates time codes for A/B Roll Editing.

Monitors are needed with each and every recorder to monitor input and output.

Editing VCRs allow students to create a SVHS Master tape from which VHS copies can be made for popular distribution.

Tape Used

When working with analog video, you can utilize the JVC DV to SVHS recorder and then copy down to VHS  or SVHS using the Panasonic AG1980

 

Older Commadore Monitors work well monitoring digital mixers

Tapes Used

AND/OR

Another JVC DV to SVHS recorder with audio options.

(Digital Video Mixer on top)

Tapes same as above
Simple JVC SVHS or VHS recorder to playing types or recording tapes.

Students will need several stations to watch tapes and evaluate tapes out of the way of traffic in the editing suite.
