Each Title-I campus develops its own plan of
action to assist all students in meeting the state's standards. The
campus plan of action is determined by setting goals for improvement,
measuring student progress using the state's standard, and identifying
students most in need of educational help. Programs are then
developed with input from parents and teachers that add to regular
classroom instruction. The Title-I program on each campus is unique
and is based on the variety of needs. Title-I programs offer a
combination of some or all of the following:
- smaller
classes
- additional
teachers and/or assistant
- additional
training for school staff
- extra time for
instruction
- a variety of
teaching methods and materials
- counseling and
mentoring
- peer tutoring
- workshops
- summer
school
