Work at Home Rights for Education Volume Licensing Customers

Microsoft Office and Office Professional (full suites only), Publisher, Project, and FrontPage licenses acquired through the Microsoft Education Select and Open License for Education programs now have expanded product use rights. (U.S. and Canada only)

Microsoft understands the non-traditional working environment of the teacher/faculty member. Many teachers and faculty members execute much of their work from home. Therefore, for the above products licensed through the Microsoft Education Select or Open License for Education programs , our customers now have the additional right to use a second copy of any such product on either a home or portable computer. You must be an Eligible Education Customer to take advantage of these new expanded product use rights.

Only the primary user of a computer on which a copy of the software is installed may make a second copy on either a home or portable computer, and such copy must be used for work-related purposes. Use of any such secondary copy shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the Select Agreement or Open License Agreement under which the original copy was licensed. By exercising the rights granted pursuant to this offering, you agree to be bound by the foregoing terms and conditions.

Qualifying Education customers that have previously acquired licenses for these products through the Open License for Education program are entitled to work at home rights with respect to any license so acquired.

You may print this page, and keep it with your Open License records, as an indication of your extended license rights Please note the new work at home rights do not apply to the individual application products included in the Office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or Access) if acquired separately.
