Objective 5

Conclusion

Drawing a conclusion is a complex reading skill because a conclusion is not stated in a reading selection. To draw a conclusion, you have to be a detective. You put all the clues together in order to find the answers. A conclusion is a decision you make after thinking about all the clues. A writer does not always tell you his or her conclusions. When you read you have to hunt for clues. Then you must put all the clues together to draw a conclusion. This will help you understand the story.
